Sarah: starting to see a change in my shape
Hurrah, I’ve reached the halfway point! I’m a bit disappointed that I haven’t lost any weight, but I have to keep reminding myself that wasn’t my challenge, and the hard work is definitely starting to pay off in terms of my body shape. I just feel generally trimmer and less wobbly all over, and I’m slowly starting to see progress on my tummy too. People have even started commenting on how good I look, which is a brilliant motivator.
Over the last week I finally feel as though I’ve found my challenge mojo. It took a while to get to grips with the diet – though I’d still kill for a glass of wine – and I’ve mastered the workout (so much so, my trainer Karolina, makes me do more reps) and now I feel nicely settled into a routine. My gym has a crèche too, so I have zero excuses, even on the days when I’ve got the kids.
That’s not to say I’m not looking forward to the challenge being over. But I’ve managed four weeks, so I’m sure I can cope with another four – and the results will be so worth it. Baring all in my bikini at the final photo shoot is incentive enough to stick at it!
