Palace to Palace Cycle Ride Palace to Palace Cycle Ride - Starting the ride at Buckingham Palace!

I’ve been looking at cycling events I can do later in the year to keep me pedalling after London to Paris and I’ve found another amazing ride. The Palace to Palace Cycle Ride for the Princes Trust take places on the 14th October 2012. Being run for its third year, 3,000 people are expected to take part on the ride cycling between Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, along the beautifully scenic 45 mile route through Fulham, Putney Bridge, Richmond and Bushey Parks, Virginia Water and Egham. It looks like a great day out for everyone!

You can sign up as an individual or as part of a team for an enjoyable day out. It is not a race and is open to anyone over the age of 16. The event costs £35 for registration per person with a minimum fundraising target of £45 (£1 a mile) to go to The Princes Trust. The charity helps disadvantaged young people to get the confidence and skills to get a job or head into training or education. A great cause.

If you'd like to join Erica on the ride on 14th October 2012, sign up to the event at www.princes-trust.org.uk/palace.
