With a friend's birthday dinner to contend with this week, can Karen swerve the Saag Aloo and stay on the straight and narrow?
With just a few weeks left before the challenge finishes, even my friends have joined in to help me to reach my goals. A friend arranged a curry for her birthday, and when I found out, I decided to skip the grub and join them for a lime and soda afterwards, but she changed the restaurant to a Moroccan one just for me.
There were some people there I hadn’t seen for a while and I think they were quite surprised at how my body’s changed. I wore my skinny jeans for the first time in ages and felt really good in them, plus I got a few comments too, which felt lovely. It’s amazing the difference losing a few inches can do to your confidence. I felt so motivated by it that I even got up early the next morning for a spinning class – on a Sunday!
