Last night we were lucky enough to go to the first performance of Midnight Tango in the West End, starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace.

The action is set in a late night bar in Downtown Buenos Aires, and Vincent and Flavia are joined by 14 of the best tango dancers in the world, as well as a live band. The story is a classic love triangle, with a heart-warming subplot of an older couple, who own the bar, rekindling their romance.  It’s full of drama, sensuality, jealousy and passion – and the tango routines are breathtaking.

When Flavia and Vincent first stepped on stage, the audience roared and every time they took centre stage they were utterly mesmerising.

The choreography, by Flavia and Vincent, is so beautiful – and so immaculately danced that you become completely lost in it. The highlight for me was their solo dance in the second act – if you’ve got tickets, look out for the moment Flavia enters the bar late at night after a storm – the dance that follows is utterly captivating.

So if the thought of waiting eight long months until Strictly hits out screens again is too much to bear, treat yourself to the hottest tickets in town!

Flancy getting a flat stomach like Flavia's? Check out her moves.
