Christine's top tips for a healthy detox

  • To make life easier on the juice diet - plan your meals and juices carefully making sure you have everything to hand before you start.
  • Snack regularly through the day keeping to the diet but feel free to also drink plenty of herbal teas and hot lemon and water, especially on cold days.
  • Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins
  • The diet includes protein, which is essential for the liver to do its cleansing job properly, so do not neglect this. I would also advise cutting back on tea, coffee for 3-4 days before you start the diet so you don't end up with any side effects, such as headaches.
  • Focus on the nutrient-rich foods you are giving your body through the week rather than seeing it as a quick fix diet - it is a spring board to losing weight and keeping it off longer term.
  • Measurements should be done just above your tummy button - no cheating!

Before starting any diet plans, the first step you should do is to detoxify your body, cleans it first before applying a diet plan, this will make it easier for you to have the proper diet you will need.
