Who says you can't afford a spa break? Ragdale Hall offers fabulous facilities, a hugely varied studio timetable and unintimidating surroundings at equally friendly prices. There's always a range of offers available, plus a regularly updated 'treatment best buys' and offers on its website, too (we found some fab Clarins and Elemis packages). It also get Brownie points for its healthy menu choices.
Special treatment: Indulge in a Clarins Pampering Foot Treatment - an hour-long foot bath, pumice, cuticle tidy-up and massage for just £43. Bliss.
Our verdict: The prices are good but it doesn't feel "budget". The thermal spa is totally indulgent, and the treatments are top-notch.
