Why is running to music so much easier?
I probably need to get myself a sports watch. It was the first day of actual running on the 10k plan and I had to run for five minutes then walk for three minutes, and so on. Trouble is, it's quite hard to time a few minutes on my normal watch

I've managed to run for an hour for the first time ever
that hour I didn't manage to clock up 10K. Actually, it was more like 8.5. But hey, my thinking is that on race day itself, the roar of the crowds (!) and fellow runners will give me the buzz to bash out that extra 1.5k without even batting an eyelid. Well
