Overwhelmed by the amount of London 2012 coverage that's starting to drop? It can only get worse (or better, depending on your point of view) as the big day approaches. Opening ceremony is on July 27, with the whole shebang closing on August 12.
So get planning your diary now to make sure you don't miss out on the highlights. Here are our Top 10 Olympic events of London 2012.
1. CYCLING
If you didn't manage to clinch any tickets for the Velodrome, don't despair, the Road Race is an unticketed event that gives us all the chance to catch a glimpse of those pumping thighs as they speed through central and south west London and Surrey before racing to the finish line in the Mall.
Locals will be jumping on a bike and taking a picnic to bag a spot as the peleton passes through Richmond Park or Bushy Park, or grab yourself a spot at Box Hill in Surrey.
When? Men's road race: Sat 28 July; women's road race: Sun 29 July.
Track cycling is a not-to-be-missed event either, with Team GB the strongest it's ever been. Ten medals are up for grabs over six action-packed days, with Victoria Pendleton debuting on the first day 2 August in the Women's Team Sprint. Look out for VP too later in the games when she goes for gold in the Women's Sprint and maybe even the keirin.
ATHLETICS
Stand by your TV from 3-12 August if you're an athletics junkie. Jessica Ennis kicks off her heptathlon campaign on 3 August, with it all over by end of play the following day. Among our best hopes on the track is 400m Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu: look out for her in the final on August 5.
When? Athletics events run 3-12 August.
SWIMMING
Make sure you're on high alert for Friday August 3, when swim superstar Rebecca Adlington will be racing in her favourite discipline, the 800m freestyle final. Look out too for Keri-Ann Payne who'll be ploughing up and down the Serpentine in Hyde Park for the unticketed 10k open water swim on the afternoon of 9 August. Oh, and synchronised swimmers take to the pool 5-10 August.
When? 28 July – 4 August
TRIATHLON
Another chance to grab a glimpse of the world's greatest female athletes, including GB's amazing world triathlon champion Helen Jenkins, comes on 4 August when the Olympic triathlon takes place in Hyde Park. It's unticketed, and there's plenty of space to catch some of the action - pack a flask of coffee and settle down for the morning.
WHEN? 4 August: women; 7 August: men
SAILING
Get yourself down to Weymouth with a pair of binoculars or wangle a place on a mate's boat to catch the live action off the Dorset coast. Alternatively, make sure you're watching the TV footage when GB sailors open their medals campaign on 29 July. Team GB topped the medal count in sailing at the last three Olympic Games, so hopes are high on home waters.
WHEN? 29 July – 11 August
TAEKWONDO
East London's ExCel will be the scene of efforts by Team GB medal hopes Sarah Stevenson and Jade Jones to add to the medal tally in eight possible events.
WHEN? 8-11 August
EQUESTRIAN
Men and women compete together in equestrian events, with Team GB's Laura Bechtolsheimer hoping for a medal in dressage. Look out too for Zara Phillips in the eventing team, although she has still to qualify for a place on the British squad.
WHEN? 28 July – 9 August
GYMNASTICS
Our best ever gymnast Beth Tweddle (double gold at the British championships in July 2011) will be among those hoping for a medal in her final Olympics. She narrowly missed out on a podium place in Beijing so will be hungry for a medal at London 2012. Fingers' crossed…
When? 28 July – 12 August
MODERN PENTATHLON
An event for adrenaline junkies, with a full-day of fencing, swimming, riding and the combined running and shooting discipline for men on 11 August and women a day later on 12 August. Look out for Beijing silver-medallist Heather Fell who'll be hoping to repeat her success on home turf.
WHEN? 11-12 August
MARATHON
Can Paula Radcliffe make this the year she does herself justice in an Olympic marathon? A nation awaits…
WHEN? 5 August (women); 12 August (men)
