This year Sue’s aim was to bring together politicians to champion women’s sport in Parliament and encourage more women to get active. So go on, get on that treadmill!

Fantastic to see Zest flying the flag for sporty, athletic, inspiring women (Jess Ennis you're especially fab!).

I always count how many pages of coverage the sports pages in the Sunday papers have without a single mention of a female athlete and it's tragic. Yes sorry, I'm a bit geeky like that. In fact one day I will record and analyse my data so I can rant about this with statistical significance.

OK anyway -

Hurray for women in sport! Can't wait to see your brilliance shine this summer when we host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.
