There is no ballsier sport than hurling yourself headfirst down an ice track on a sled the size of a tea tray, so imagine our admiration when Shelley won this year’s skeleton World Champion.

Fantastic to see Zest flying the flag for sporty, athletic, inspiring women (Jess Ennis you're especially fab!).

I always count how many pages of coverage the sports pages in the Sunday papers have without a single mention of a female athlete and it's tragic. Yes sorry, I'm a bit geeky like that. In fact one day I will record and analyse my data so I can rant about this with statistical significance.

OK anyway -

Hurray for women in sport! Can't wait to see your brilliance shine this summer when we host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.
