Kelly Hoppen and her gorgeous curls

She's one of Britain's top interior designers and was awarded an MBE in 2009. Oh, and she's Sienna Miller's step-mother. But what curly-maned women across the world really want to know is how does Kelly Hoppen keep her hair looking so fantastic?

We persuaded Kelly to share her hair secrets...

Kelly says, 'Curly hair tends to be really dry so the key is to ensure that the curls are moisturized regularly, I use a great shampoo and leave-in conditioner by Kevin Murphy.

'After you've washed your hair, use a wide tooth comb to detangle - never use a brush. I try to let it try naturally when I can but mostly use a diffuser which helps give extra body.

'I use a little bit of L'Oreal Studio Line Curl Power or sometimes use Motion.Notion also by Kevin Murphy to seal the curls.

'It's also important not to wash curly hair daily as this will dry it even more, I wash mine once a week and if it needs to be refreshed, it I just rinse through with water (no shampoo) and add conditioner - this is a great tip my hairdresser Magdalen Jagri  at 10500 hair salon in Notting Hill taught me.

'To tame the frizz in the mornings, I use Moroccan oil.

'And my magic tool for perfect curls on a night out is the curling wand, which gives it a glamorous look and helps to maintain the shape of my curls.'
