Interesting about the new guidelines re how many eggs you can eat. So many people still think that the cholesterol is high. I shall spread the word!

Eggs contain high levels of cholesterol & may contain carcinogenic retroviruses, toxic pollutants (such as PCB, arsenic, phthalates), & Salmonella. Eating 1 egg per day can significantly shorten lifespan and increase our risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and some types of cancer (such as pancreatic & breast).

Eggs contain high levels of Cholesterol. But that is dietary cholesterol not blood cholesterol. Since whole egg is full of protein, you will not be tempted to eat other food and therefore will reduce your weight. Let me take one example: If someone is bitten by a snake, one of the remedies of saving the victim is to suck out the blood. Very funny right. Why would you suck poisonous blood into your mouth? Because, this will not enter your blood stream. While the victim's life is endagered with the same poison in his blood stream, the same poison is harmless in your digestive tract. Same way it works with the dietary cholesterol in the egg. You are safe to eat it and not miss the most wonderful food God has provided. Franklin Alagala - Software Technology Architect - Infosys.
