Hi Everyone, Can anyone offer me any advise on how to get the most out of winter running? I started running in March this year and am really enjoying it but just lately, I've been finding the cold on my chest during morning runs to be a bit uncomfortable. I've changed my running gear for a long sleeved top with a jacket and thicker leggings but I'm still finding it harder than usual to get into my runs. Is this normal? Has anyone got any tips for making running in the old any easier? Thanks!

Try a buff - my asthmatic friend swears by it. I think it is a type of scarf used by runners?

i start off slower giving time for my body to warm up and if i feel my lungs are beginning to burn i slow down or change to a quick walk to get my breathing back under control...however this is done quickly otherwise the body starts to get cold especially my thighs...and thats harder to re-warm hope that works...my mantra for this is just faster than a walk speaking this to myself this regulates the quickest
