Hi!  I really enjoy Zest.  I am trying to lose weight and get fitter. I use to be fit and be very sporty.  After an illness, I became more and more unfit.  I love Yoga, but it can be so expensive. I enjoy Boxercise and swimming.  Has anyone got words of encouragement, where to start, what healthy eating plans work better.  Thank you!

Hi Rachel, Yoga can be expenssive but it's brilliant! Maybe try a class - lots of recreation/leisure centres have beginner classes that aren't so pricey, and if you feel it's worth the investment carry on going, or if you're worried about the cash try a yoga workout DVD. Speaking of which there are loads of brilliant workout DVDs - all of Davina McCall's are great, Kettlersize is really good for toning, 10 minute solutions are fab and Jillian Michaels gets results!

Good luck - and keep us posted.

Dear Laura

Thank you for the advise.  I have a Davina DVD which i must try.  She is really good.

I am having trouble cutting down on Crisps.  I have had 3 packets today!!  But I haven't had Chocolate recently...so one step at a time.

Def try your Davina dvd - I think you'll really like it.

Hmm, sounds like you need some new healthy savoury snack ideas to keep you away from those crisps! How about carrots sticks with houmous, mini wholemeal pitta with houmous, a handful of nuts or some popcorn - there are loads of nice brands with tasty flavours about.

Thank you that is a good idea.   I enjoy slices of cucumber too.

I will start the Davina DVD

Have a good week.

Hi Rachel, If you are wanting free yoga instruction I would highly recommend looking up Tara Stiles yoga clips on youtube. There are loads of different clips that are about 10 minutes each range from absolute beginner to really advance yoga. The best bit is that you can do it at home in your living room or bedroom for free!!
