We asked Judith Wills, author of The Food Bible (Quadrille, £12.99), to come up with the easiest, most effective eating plan she could. 'The Power of 10 is simplicity itself,' she says. 'Just pick a breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a snack from one of the 10 options every day. There's not a "boring" diet dish in sight and we've included ready meals and restaurant favourites, so you can stick with it even when you're too busy to cook or want to enjoy an evening with friends. 'Best of all, you could safely lose up to a stone in time for your holiday, without any calorie-counting, stressful shopping or time-consuming, complicated recipes.'
HOW IT WORKS
Our Power of 10 Diet consists of 10 breakfasts, 10 lunches, 10 dinners and 10 snacks - all you have to do is choose one of each every day. You should also drink up to 250ml skimmed milk and at least 1.5 litres of water a day. And that's all there is to it! Oh, and you can add anything you want from the free foods and drinks list. There's lots to choose from. You can tuck into any leafy green vegetables and all salad leaves, spring onions, radish and beansprouts. And, drinkwise, you can have water; black, green or redbush tea (or with milk allowance) and up to three cups of coffee or any herbal teas. Plus, mustard, vinegar and oil-free salad dressings can be used to ensure your meals are extra tasty. Losing weight has never been easier - or more enjoyable!
