'This one targets your biceps and triceps,' says Ramona. 'The rapid movements will not only lengthen out your muscles, but also strengthen your shoulders and back to improve your posture in the process.'

  • Stand in a boxing stance - knees slightly bent, feet shoulder-width apart, one slightly behind the other (your left leg in front if you're right handed, right leg in front if you're left handed).
  • Hold a dumbbell in each hand (3lb to 5lb) and keep your hands up near to your face, elbows bent, as if you were protecting your head, then with a twisting motion punch your dominant arm forward followed by a quick punch with your other hand - this is one rep.
  • Repeat the one two punching in quick succession until you reach 20 reps on each side.

The picture of the plank doesn't seem to follow the instructions on how to do it.  In the picture the girl is resting on her hands rather than her elbows and forearms.  Bit confusing for rookies
