THE TOTAL-BODY TONER

This lunge press targets multiple muscle groups simultaneously to give you tauter thighs, a pert bum and perky boobs in half the time.

  • Attach the band to the top of a door or a bannister at head height, and stand facing away from the attachment point, holding the handles at chest height.
  • Breathe out as you lunge forward with your right leg, dropping your left knee. Once you're in the lunge position, press your hands forward and away from you.
  • Breathe in as you step backwards and return your hands and feet to the start position. Repeat lunge with your left leg.
  • Aim for eight reps on each leg.
Zest tip

'Bands come in different levels of resistance - the thicker the band, the more tension and the tougher the workout,' says Jon. 'To add more resistance, try looping or doubling up the band - it will help to target your deeper muscles.'

I love the living room workout section of Zest, I've cut the pages out and stuck them in a folder so I've got a little selection of workouts to do!
