Combining wellness activities with your break is all the rage in Ibiza, with the island becoming increasingly popular for bootcamps, yoga retreats, spa treatments and get-away-from-it-all holidays.

One way to get your day off to a good start is with a yoga session, which is why the luxury Amante Beach Club has introduced a programme of classes on its open-air terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.
A variety of expert teachers share the yoga schedule, so you can pick and choose the style of class you want to take, and holding them early means the heat doesn't prevent you from giving your all. Cooling sea breezes help, as does the view - a spectacular tranche of turquoise sea with nothing but the occasional passing boat to break the vista.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 12, with cost depending in the teacher.
Chill out and re-fuel after your yoga session with a delicious freshly-made smoothie to refresh and revitalise. We recommend the Ibiza or Amante Detox, combining carrot, celery, broccoli, leon, spirulina and Piper for a natural energy blast.
Celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Kylie Minogue are among the clientele at Amante Beach Club, located in the secluded Sol D'en Serra bay just south of Cala Llonga. But you don't have to be an A-lister to join in.
Yoga takes place in the cooler months of the year - September-October, and May-June - and all you have to do is check the Amante facebook page or ring to find out which teachers are taking the latest classes.
